I’m almost 40 watching guys in their 20s do the shoot dance to the shoot song.  I was so lost.  I felt so out of place.  I feel like I’m getting too old for New York City nightlife.  I’m at the stage in my life where staying home or going out to a nice restaurant fulfills me.  I feel complete.  That is what makes me happy.

Pretty Nikki is an amazing promoter.  To be able to draw a youthful crowd for her events says a lot!  There was no violence. It was all positive vibes.  Some young rappers from Harlem and the Bronx got on the microphone to perform.  I love that Nikki provided a platform for them to get their music out to hundreds of people.  I actually enjoyed some of what I heard from these artists.  I pray those young boys prosper!

The yacht was nice.  I didn’t explore much.  I stayed put and sold goods on the lower level.  I met a lot of fun people who took great interest in the adult toys I was selling from  One guy said he doesn’t go down on his women and purchased a vibrator to use on his women to keep them satisfied. You meet all kinds of interesting people doing these events.  Hearing their stories always draw me in.

Had I not gone to the yacht party as a vendor, I probably would not have been out so late.  I am at the day party stage in life.  Any event after 10 pm requires my bed and lots of sleep.  I don’t like being out late anymore.  I’m over it.  I am, however,  grateful for the opportunity Nikki gave me to display my goods.  She is truly a gem because she blessed many with a platform to promote their talents and services.  We need more people like her in our community.

Meeting new people is the highlight of each night.  Of course making money is a priority, but making new friends and contacts definitely takes the cake.  Scott Stratten said “If you believe business is built on relationships, make building them your business.”
