Update: Jay Slater’s body was found on July 15, after the 19-year-old was reported missing on June 17, 2024. He was discovered in a ravine, just feet away from his cell phone’s last pinged location. His cause of death was ruled accidental, linked to a fall that resulted in multiple traumatic injuries. However, based on my reading, I suspect foul play. While the formal investigation by the Spanish police has concluded, internet sleuths also suspect foul play and continue to investigate Slater’s untimely death. We pray for Jay Slater’s family during this painful period.
