God made no mistakes when he created this earth. I can’t believe beautiful places like this exist just a short amount of miles from the Bronx. I feel like I discovered gold! Here I am, a former urban socialite. I traded the excitement of New York City nightlife for day trips to green grasslands, riverfronts, and rural landscapes with astounding views.
Foundry Dock Park is just one of those spectacular finds on our regular road trips. I love the water. I love being near the water. I love the sound of the water. I love the way the water makes me feel. I love the smell of the water. To be in a space like this with green grass, clear water, and views of the fjords was everything I needed to assist me on my healing journey.
