HARRAH’S POOL AFTER DARK – ATLANTIC CITY, NEW JERSEY

Harrah’s Pool After Dark is probably Atlantic City’s number one nightclub. It’s known as the largest indoor pool party. Located in the pool area of Harrah’s Resort and Casino, this space is a tropical oasis by day, and a sexy nightclub at night. It’s a large space with multi-levels including a gaming pit on the main floor and an outdoor deck on the upper level.

I’ve been to the the Pool After Dark a lot of times, and I’ve never had a bad experience. The drinks are pricey, but the joy you get from the ambiance is priceless. I’ve seen people in the pool during the night party, but most were just standing ankle deep in pretty dresses. You may find a young woman in a bikini who probably enjoys the attention she gets from getting wet from the water in the pool instead of getting wet from her sweat on the dance floor. I don’t think many go to the Pool After Dark with the intention to swim. If you are into the nightclub scene, Harrah’s Pool After Dark is a must visit if you are in Atlantic City.

The Pool After Dark strictly prohibits the following attire:

No athletic gear
No hats or head gear (Yamaka / turbans or religious pieces ARE allowed)
No sunglasses
No exposed chains or oversized jewelry
No hooded / zippered sweaters, jackets or pull-overs
No baggy or loose / oversized fitting clothing
No plain white T-shirts or muscle tees
No denim shorts
No Timberlands, work boots or steel-toe boots
Men: No sandals or flip-flops
Fitted jeans and sneakers are allowed*

*Guests are NOT PERMITTED to enter The Pool After Dark wearing swimwear.*
For guests who would like to swim during nightlife hours, complimentary lockers are available to store nightlife attire.

*Failure to adhere to the dress code policy listed above may result in denial of entry.
*Coat check is located at the Bell Desk next to the Front Desk at Harrah’s Resort
