Grand Turk Island is still rebuilding after being hit by hurricane Irma and Maria in September 2017. The beaches are still very beautiful, and the people show much resilience. The island is still recovering, but welcome tourism to help with their economy. In addition, many projects appear to have started on the island, but developers seem to have abandoned the projects midway. I felt saddened, disappointed, delighted, inspired and in awe all at the same time. It was an interesting experience.
