There are bars, restaurants, and shopping on the beach. It’s a cool atmosphere where you will find tourists, especially cruise passengers, and locals having fun in the sun together.
Sip on a Bushwacker, a popular local cocktail made with Bailey’s Irish Cream, vodka, Cruzan coconut rum, Kahlua, Amaretto, and Cruzan dark rum. The freshly grated nutmeg definitely kicks the flavor profile up a notch. The drink is tasty, and if you visit the right bartender, he’ll be extra generous with the rum.
Coki Point is one of my favorite beaches on the island because of its party like atmosphere. As the sun starts to set, the DJ increases the volume on local tunes, and you find yourself swaying to the sounds of island music while holding a delicious cocktail in your hand.
