2 Cups whole milk
1 Cups heavy cream
2 Tablespoons vanilla extract
1 1/2 Cups sugar
16 Ounces, chopped, bittersweet chocolate
1/2 Teaspoon peppermint oil
whipped cream and crushed peppermints for garnish
Mix liquid ingredients and sugar in a saucepan over medium heat. Once hot, add chocolate and mix continuously until the chocolate has completely melted. Add peppermint oil and stir. Remove from heat and pour into 6 demitasses. Top with whipped cream and crushed peppermints.
