When packing for one of my regular beach vacations, I usually include a polka dot piece and some type of linen number. Linen is synonymous with summer so I almost never travel to my favorite island destinations without a linen top or bottom.

The linen pants’ length casually slouches over my feet, but still exposes my white flip flops as I stand on this beautiful sandy beach on the island of Roatan, Honduras.
