It has recently been reported that a fire erupted on Princess Cruises’ private island, Princess Cays, on Eleuthera in the Bahamas. Shortly after 11:00 PM on Monday, January 28, 2019 four buildings were destroyed on the property.
Reports state that the fire completely destroyed the generator house, reverse osmosis water plant, mechanic shop and tool shed. The fire was contained within several hours. They anticipate resuming operations as early as next week. Thankfully, no injuries have been reported.
