We met in the Village on Saturday for brunch and discovered this:
Here in NYC, where things are always bigger and better, there’s an East and West Pole. The Poles will meet at the same 12th bar so that everyone can be brought together. 12 bars later, you’ll be sufficiently full of holiday cheer. Each bar will provide a different drink special for the group. All participants will receive a fashionable red Santa hat (to mark yourself as part of the group) and an awesome commemorative beer mug. Donations of $25 in advance or $30 at the door are kindly required from each participant. Proceeds from the event will be donated to the Food Bank of NYC. Over the last two years they’ve raised approximately $14,500.
