I don’t know how we ended up in Hanover, New Jersey when we were suppose to be in MT. Laurel, New Jersey. While turning out of a Taco Bell drive thru, we got a flat tire and was stuck in an unfamiliar place. I got AAA on the phone while Omar changed a flat tire for the first time. I was quite apprehensive about Omar changing the tire, but he ended up doing a great job and we got to our destination safely.
Surf City is a large venue with beautiful views of Manhattan and Liberty Island. They have a variety of frozen cocktails and a small but tempting menu. We went there on Memorial Day, and it was still a little cold out especially with it being a waterfront property. This place is definitely a summer hot spot for good fun and positive vibes. Even though we decided to take our food to go, I really enjoyed my time there watching the boats pull up to the port as guest disembark to be seated at a table for food and drinks.
I look forward to going back as it’s only about 40 minutes from New York City. Hopefully I will remember to document my time there during hotter weather.
