We are gearing up for an exciting 7 day cruise on the Carnival Glory making stops at Grand Cayman, Belize, Honduras, and Cozumel leaving from Miami, Florida. During our day in Miami, I finally got to visit Wynwood Art District. It’s funny how graffiti was shunned in the past and now it’s considered art. It seems like only a “certain group” of people can dictate what’s positive and popular even though we’ve been dictating POPULAR art, culture, fashion, and music by merely expressing our talents. Coming from New York City, graffiti in urban neighborhoods has always been a form of art. I’m happy for the artists as well as the culture that graffiti is finally being acknowledged for its beauty across the world.
