TAINTED ALCOHOL TO BLAME FOR TOURISTS DEATHS IN THE DOMINICAN REPUBLIC?

It’s being reported that police are investigating whether recent deaths of tourists at Dominican Republic resorts are linked to counterfeit liquor.  According to reports, officials are questioning who supplied alcoholic beverages drank by victims right before their deaths.  officials want to determine if the drinks had dangerous chemicals in them.  The FBI has gotten involved in the investigation.  According to a forensic science professor, the symptoms among the dead were consistent with methanol or pesticides.

Leyla Cox, 53, died last Tuesday in the Dominican Republic while on a trip to celebrate her birthday.
