Somewhat of a reunion, the girls and I met at Cafeteria in the Chelsea area of Manhattan for a late night chatter and munch. A quiet Sunday with old friends at this hip New York City restaurant made the weekend end on a pleasant note. The food at Cafeteria does not bring forth memories of school lunch on foam trays. Cafeteria’s menu has graduated with honors. The food is good with prices to match. A quaint place for friends and lovers, Cafeteria meets expectations without breaking the bank. Their Mac and cheese can rival grandma’s. Their chicken and waffles is down home meets Seventh Avenue.
