EVEN IF IT ISN’T FUNNY, I STILL LAUGH

It made me smile seeing her laugh. I didn’t think her joke was funny. I laughed out loud because I felt good seeing her feel good about something. She’s 8 years old and the things she finds funny, I could barely comprehend. Nevertheless,these are the moments where I’ve convinced myself that it is o.k. to lie about something. Although her joke fell flat, I was infected by a magnetic smile in her laughter.
