Before you plan your next girls’ or boys’ trip, make sure you and your partner have invested enough time in each other. Traveling with your partner strengthens bonds and build memories that are important towards growing as a power couple.

While I enjoy traveling alone or with my daughter, I always have moments on each of those trips where I say to myself, “I wish Omar was here.” The experience is still beautiful without him, but I know his presence would add uniqueness to it.

Don’t find yourself doing everything with everyone other than your partner. Look for common ground and explore different things that interest the both of you. Remember the vows you made to each other and commit to growing as a couple and enjoying each other’s company near and far from home.
