It’s Day 5 of our 7 day cruise! We are on Princess Cruises’ island, Princess Cays. It wasn’t my favorite stop, but as I’ve state before, it’s always nice when we get off of the ship during our cruise vacation. It’s a beach bbq like experience with foods available from jerk chicken, hot dogs, and hamburgers to potato salad. Unfortunately, we couldn’t enjoy our food because there were lots of flies who wanted to share our plates of food with us.
There’s a playground area with a pool for the children. There are plenty of beach chairs to sit on – even some close to the water. I didn’t like that there was no wifi available, but I guess vacations are about putting down your phone and living in the moment. It would have been nice to have had the opportunity to upload a quick picture or do a live video from the location, but that was merely a thought.
The island is a short ride from the cruise ship on a tender boat. The color of the water is beautiful. It was clean and clear. It looked like a swimming pool. Princess Cays is the perfect place to just relax and unwind. It reminds you that life can be a beach!
