I was thinking of a number between 1 and 10.  He couldn’t guess the number I was thinking of.  I didn’t want him to know that I had no use for a Phillips screwdriver.  I just needed a reason to visit the hardware store he managed on the weekends.  His eyes are deep.  Deeper than I can sink.  His lips are full.  I wanted to kiss them softly in the pouring rain.   I was so mesmerized by his smile, I couldn’t remember my name.  It’s the shoes that saved the day,  what boosted my confidence.  A fabulous pair of ankle-high suede booties with a peep toe.  In those shoes, he was definitely peeping me.
