Dinner at Sangria 46 on Restaurant Row was extra special. We celebrated Amy’s birthday over Spanish food and caught-up on missed moments we experienced while away from each other. A guitarist serenaded us with the Mexican version of Happy Birthday. We enjoy glasses of mango sangria along with assorted tapas and the most delectable dessert I ever tasted!
For dinner I had arroz criollo – topped with a grilled shrimp. Surrounding the plate were sweet plantains and avocado. For dessert I had a mango mousse cake, which was heavenly; divine. The girls enjoyed cups of coffee as we discussed dating, marriage, and the desire to remain single.
I didn’t care too much for the food at Sangria 46, but the atmosphere was warm, and welcoming. The Mango Mousse Cake was probably one of the best desserts I ever had at a restaurant. At the end of the night, We enjoyed an aperitif then made our way to the train station in the pouring rain.
Friendship is so important. Even with all the ups and downs, I realize that we will have fall-outs, but those are the same individuals that lift you up when you’re down. Forgiveness is important and sharing special moments alone is never as fun as being part of a group of people who love you like family.
