After a thrilling ride on The Beast, we made our way down to North River Lobster Company. A three-floor floating lobster shack with 3 outdoor decks. They have a floating rooftop and extended outdoor deck space on each level. On top of that—they have an aft facing balcony on the stern.
You can sit outdoors by the water and enjoy delicious seafood or board their free boat cruise that makes its way up the Hudson River and cruises its way back downtown. Choose a seat on any level and order a meal or simply feel the wind blow through your hair as the ship sets sail. There is no obligation to eat or drink on the ship. But you must enjoy the sites and atmosphere. It’s a family friendly experience that’s also perfect for couples or groups.
For dinner we had spicy wings; North River Pat La Frieda Burger -Beef, Applewood Bacon, Caramelized Onions, Gruyère on a Toasted Brioche with Hand Cut Fries with a side of Garlic Aioli; and a Shrimp Po’Boy. We tasted 2 of their specialty cocktails both served in glass mugs with the company’s name and logo on it.
