Some people invest deeply in someone’s growth and success only to be discarded as though they meant nothing.
A man can use a woman, lie to her, manipulate her, siphon her energy, gossip about her, emotionally or physically abuse her, kick her when she is down, and abandon her at her lowest, then move on and have the nerve to call her “bitter.”
What is she supposed to be, elated?
I pray that every woman’s bitterness transforms into peace and clarity. Once you accept the lesson, you evolve and grow from the experience. Bitterness is a real human emotion. It is often what you feel after being emotionally drained by someone you poured into. In time, you find relief in no longer carrying the weight of what broke you.
What once broke you can become the very thing that builds you. Imagine what would happen if you poured into yourself the same energy, love, and effort you gave to others. Be grateful you no longer have someone like that in your life. Bitterness becomes a blessing when you stop abandoning yourself in toxic relationships and start pouring into yourself.
